Are you in search of a yarn that combines luxurious softness with durability and a stunning colour palette? Look no further than Yarnsmiths Pebble Haze DK yarn, courtesy of Wool Warehouse. In this review, I'll delve into the features, pros, and cons of this delightful yarn, scoring it a solid and well deserved 9/10.

I purchased several colourways of Pebble Haze DK when it was launched by Yarnsmiths at Wool Warehouse, UK for my new knitting pattern designs.. Flora, and here are my thoughts while knitting it...
Pros:
- Super Soft Texture: From the moment you touch Yarnsmiths Pebble Haze DK, you'll fall in love with its heavenly super softness. Created from a blend of 33% acrylic and 67% cotton, this yarn offers a plush feel that's perfect for children's patterns or for cute summer outfits where the yarn is in contact with your skin. It has a very slight fluffy texture that is not itchy or snags.
- Non-Splitting: One of the frustrations knitters often encounter is yarn that splits easily, causing interruptions in their stitching. Fortunately, Yarnsmiths Pebble Haze DK yarn boasts an excellent texture, gliding smoothly on the needles without splitting.
- Gorgeous Range of Colours: Whether you're a fan of vibrant hues or subtle neutrals, this yarn has something to suit almost every taste. The range of colours offered by Yarnsmiths Pebble Haze DK is simply breathtaking, providing endless possibilities for your projects, and I am sure as time progresses the colour range will expand.

Neutral Points:
- Fine DK Ply: While some may prefer a slightly thicker DK yarn, Yarnsmiths Pebble Haze DK falls into the category I call 'fine DK' ply. This means it may require a bit of adjustment for those accustomed to working with bulkier DK yarns. However, once you adapt, you'll appreciate the delicate and almost 3/4 ply lacy drape it lends to your finished pieces.
Cons:
- Middle Range Price: At an RRP of £3.20 per 50g ball, Yarnsmiths Pebble Haze DK yarn sits at a middle-range price point. While the quality certainly justifies the cost, budget-conscious crafters may find it a little pricey. However, it's worth noting that this yarn is currently on sale at the time of writing this blog, offering excellent value for its exceptional quality. And even if it isn't on sale it's certainly worth the purchase for it's luxurious quality.

In conclusion, Yarnsmiths Pebble Haze DK yarn by Wool Warehouse is a fabulous new yarn that's a standout choice for knitters and crocheters seeking a premium yarn that excels in softness, durability, and colour variety. Despite its slightly finer DK ply and mid-range price, the overall quality and versatility of this yarn make it a worthy addition to any crafter's stash. With its current sale offering added affordability, there's never been a better time to indulge in the luxurious world of Yarnsmiths Pebble Haze DK and I for one will always make sure I have a few balls in my stash!
As a final note they also launched Pebble Haze Prints at the same time, which I also purchased. I haven't yet had the chance to knit with this yarn but each ball exhibits the same qualities as the DK version, with a slightly more muted range of variegated colours.
